This Returns & Exchanges Policy is designed with the same transparency and care as our Privacy Policy. We aim to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, whether you’re a busy urban dweller with Easy Care Houseplants or a collector of unique Tropical Houseplants.

1. Our Return & Exchange Philosophy

Our policy reflects our commitment to your happiness and the well-being of every living plant we send on a journey to its new home.
2. What Can Be Returned or Exchanged?
Most items from our curated collections are eligible for return or exchange within 15 days of delivery, including:
- 🪴 Houseplants (4″ Pot & 6″ Pot): If the plant arrives damaged, diseased, or incorrectly shipped.
- 🌵 Succulents and Cacti: If there are issues with condition upon arrival.
- 🧺 Garden Supplies: Unused and in original packaging.
- 💡 Air Purifier Houseplants & other categories: Subject to the conditions below.
3. Non-Returnable Items
To ensure the health and safety of all our plants and customers, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- ⚠️ Rare Houseplants & Limited Stock Items: Due to their unique nature and limited availability, all sales are final for plants in our Rare Houseplants collection.
- ⚠️ Custom or Final Sale Items: Clearly marked as such on the product page.
- ⚠️ Plants Damaged Due to Customer Care: Plants that have declined due to changes in environment, light (Low Light vs. Bright Light requirements), watering, or other care-related issues after delivery.
- ⚠️ Opened or Used Supplies: Any garden supplies that have been opened or used.
*If a rare or non-returnable plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will work with you on a case-by-case solution.
4. Step-by-Step Return/Exchange Process
- Contact Us Within 15 Days:
Email our plant-loving support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Please use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information. - Await Authorization & Instructions:
We will respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific return instructions. Please do not ship anything back without an RMA number. - Pack Your Return Securely:
Pack the item(s) securely in the original or similar packaging. For plants, please ensure the pot and soil are secured to prevent damage in transit. Include a copy of your original packing slip or order number inside the box. - Ship the Package:
Ship the package to the address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item or damaged on arrival). - Wait for Processing:
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund or exchange.

6. Refunds: Timing & Method
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival at our facility), we will process your refund.
- Timing: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal) within 5-10 business days after approval. The time it appears on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider’s policies.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees (e.g., the $12.95 Standard Shipping fee) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our mistake. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, we will ship the replacement item once the return is on its way back to us. Standard or Free Shipping (over $50) will apply based on the new order value.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your plant arrives damaged, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]. Include your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the plant/product. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly and cover the return shipping costs.
